IEP Development & Assessments at IMPACT begins with comprehensive evaluations that guide the creation of each child's Individual Education Plan. Our assessment process is thorough and holistic, examining academic abilities, cognitive functioning, communication skills, social-emotional development, sensory processing, motor skills, and adaptive behaviors. Through standardized assessments, observations, interviews with families and teachers, and informal evaluations, we gather a complete picture of each student's strengths, challenges, and learning preferences.
The information gathered through assessments directly informs the development of personalized IEPs that serve as roadmaps for each student's educational journey. Our IEPs include specific, measurable goals across academic, social, communication, and life skills domains, along with detailed strategies and accommodations to support achievement. We believe in collaborative IEP development, working closely with families, teachers, and therapists to ensure that goals are meaningful, achievable, and aligned with each student's potential. Regular progress monitoring and IEP reviews ensure that plans remain relevant and responsive to student growth, allowing us to celebrate achievements and adjust strategies as needed to support continued progress.
